What's inside
Four ways to checkwhat you're being told.
Fact-check
Paste a claim or a topic. It comes back with a verdict, the reasoning behind it, and every source weighed for credibility.
Compare
Put two claims side by side to see where they agree, where they diverge, and which one the evidence actually supports.
Blindspot
An endless feed of the stories one side of the spectrum is barely covering — and the facts the coverage leaves out.
For you
A daily briefing built from what you have already checked, with how the left, centre and right each told it.
Inside every verdict
Not just an answer —the whole working shown.
Every check returns the same six parts, so you can trace any conclusion back to the reporting it came from.
Verdict and confidence
A plain-language verdict, from true to unverifiable, with a 0–100% confidence figure so you know how settled the evidence is.
Reasoning
The argument behind the verdict written out in full — not just a label, so you can judge the logic yourself.
Key findings
The specific facts that carried the most weight, listed separately from the narrative.
Counterpoints
The strongest evidence on the other side, so you can see what the verdict had to overcome.
Sources, scored
Every source it leaned on, rated 1–10 for credibility with a short note explaining the score.
Political leaning
Where the outlets behind the coverage sit on the spectrum, from far left through centre to far right.
The bias scale
Every outlet placedon the same seven points.
Each source a claim rests on is placed somewhere on the spectrum, so you can see whether the evidence behind a verdict comes from one side of the aisle, the other, or across both.
The rating describes the leaning of the outlets being cited. It is an estimate, not a verdict on the claim itself — and a claim covered only by one side of the spectrum is flagged as exactly that.
Credibility
Scored 1–10 for each source, from peer-reviewed data and wire services at the top down to unverified social posts at the bottom.
Blindspot
When a story is reported heavily by one side and barely at all by the other, Veritify says so — and names the facts the coverage leaves out.
